Fremont - The management and staff of Serenity Memorial Funeral Home join with the Harvey and connected families to announce the earthly transition of Mr. William Henry Harvey, age 84, who departed this earthly life at the Wayne UNC Health Care, of Goldsboro, NC on Friday, January 1, 2021.

The pages of life began to turn for William Henry Harvey, Jr., on August 11, 1936, when he was born to Wiliam Henry Harvey, Sr., and Katie Beatrice Battle Harvey in Wayne County, NC.
William received his basic education in the Wayne County Public Schools Systems and was employed with the town of Fremont for over 30 years.
He spent over 49 years with and later united in marriage to Pamela Belinda Davis and to this union three children were born.
He was a faithful member of the Reaching the World for Christ church where he enjoyed fellowship and singing in the Male Chorus.
He was predeceased by his parents- Willam Henry Harvey and Katie Beatrice Battle Harvey, his devoted wife; Pamela Belinda Harvey; Siblings: James Harvey, Val Harvey, Eugene Harvey, Delores Spells, Muriel Dickerson, Doris Waker, one son; Grayland Harvey, and two grandsons.
He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Thelbert L. Harvey (Regina), Renny G. Harvey (Michelle), Kim Davis, Lakeisha Martin (Willie), Dedric D. Harvey (Glenda); 20 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren, one sister, Sophia Boyette, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends at 103 Melrose Place, Pikeville, NC - MASK are required for entry.
