Fremont - The management and staff of Serenity Memorial Funeral Home join with the Hill and connected families to announce the earthly transition of Mrs. Lucille Hill, 72, who transitioned from this earthly life on Saturday, November 7, 2020, surrounded by those she loved.
The page of life began to turn for Lucille Hill (Lucy) on February 03, 1948, for it was then she would be born to the late Thomas Lamb & Hattie Artis Lamb in Wayne County, NC. She peacefully transitioned from her earthly house into eternal rest on Saturday November 07, 2020.
Lucille received her basic education from the Wayne County public schools at Norwayne High School. She Attended Lindell Revival church under the leadership of Pastor Hawkins. Lucille worked in the laundry Department at Cherry Hospital for 21 years and at Wages for 2 years until her Health started to decline. Lucille was a loving and devoted mother she loved going to yard sales in her spare time and eating.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Lamb and Hattie Artis Lamb; Her Husband Sherman Hill; One son, Gregory Hill; one brother; Jessie Lamb; five sisters: Annie Petteway; Hattie Gardner; Betty Lamb; Dean Lamb; and Maggie Williams and one Grandson Tyler Hill.
Lucille leaves to cherish her memories; 3 Children: Sharon Hill; Jeffery Hill(Dawn); and Tamarice Hill; Two Sisters: Joan Rowe and Hilda Sutton; 4 Grandchildren: Brandon; Natasha; Brittany; Christopher; Jeff Jr; Matthew; Maurice; Kijah; Destiny; Kobe; Keyasha; Emory; Corbin; Trell and 13 Great- Grandchildren and a host of niece and nephews and other relatives .
